Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Royal Netherlands Airforce, Air2Air
Hello Scramble friends,
Following the adrenaline photoseries by Frank Crébas of the Dutch Lion, I would like to present another report on this fantastic photoflight.
I must warn you all tough.....it does contain a lot of rather boring head-on photos. Let me show you some examples
That's the ideal way to start the morning, we are not feeling uncomftable are we ?
It gets worse here, not only did we cut one of the wings off, but it's even a double head-on shot!! We just have no politeness anymore....
Okay, we tried to make it up by making a head-on picture from the underside, unfortunately it got spoiled by overexposed parts in the frame....
Now Tom is getting réally creative...the upwards angle....we should throw him out our team by trying this kind of things....
Also Michael did not succeed, so the Coastguard Dornier said bye bye..now that almost looks like a side-on shot
Hey, this is our photoship, getting photographed; there was just one condition to convince the pilot to pose for us.....no simple head-on photo please!!
It was the longest photoflight we've made so far; 3 hours and 10 minutes : no there is no restroom onboard! Ooh, and for all the photographers that like head-on pictures
IN YOUR FACE BABY!
Thank you for watching another report.

Ehhhh.........searching for words here...
here we go: That first one, it's like he's trying to park in the cargo hold!!!

I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.

Nice photos, as always. But your comment is rather arrogant and childish.

The pictures are excelent and crisp. Words are like music, some like symphony some hard-rock. I myself sometimes fail to find the right tone but always try to stay in tune.

I like most pictures and love the sarcasm!

Great pics ruined by terrible copyright marks and comments.

This is allmost as boring as the regulars at Amsterdam . better have called it, warning for boring pictures, please have a pillow in the near facinity.....truly awesome shots!
@ Slijfie: heads up mister, this is called sarasm. has got nothing to do with arrogance. And if even if it was arrogancy, with these kind of shots, a little bit of arrogance is justified

The first and last picture. If you happen to unfortunately drop something in the Skyvan you will sure as h@ll cause a FOD-accident...
That L-39: any closer and it'll either get an unwanted botched-up "nose-job" or a conversion into a "jet cabriolet"...
