Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Eating snow and sand, GLV-5 3-12-10 *updated

Post by Maarten »

Hello all,

I had this in my mind for a long time, fotograph helicopters in a nice winter setting at GLV-5.
So after long waiting the day finally was there. Luckily some helicopters showed up.
I will post a few pics for now, more will follow later.

:respect: Nice, nice! Very nice!
Number 3 and 4 are the best. #4 show a perfect shot of the brown-out situation and #3 is nice because of the whole scene: departing helo, troops on the ground, snow being blown away.
A nice wintery GLV-5, I would say!
Much better photo's than we could see from the slopes!

Greetings from an also very white and cold Stockholm!

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.
