Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

My editing time actually just ended ;) With my amounts of pics, I just need a very systematic approach to editing... and a side effect is that I'm done by now - with everything at the same time

And hell, yeah, thanks a million for babysitting me this year! Anytime again! ;)

Could be - I don't care about limits when it comes to cropping ;) (see e.g. the Rafale shots in my Ferte-Alais thread). After all, it's the target medium that counts :)

Wow! Did you do any HDR-techniques on one or more of the photos ?

Well done,

Canon gear - here I guess it's mostly 500/4IS with or without 1.4x teleconverter, all on the 1Dmk3. I don't do much postprocessing, mostly just few adjustments in CaptureOne (usually crop & contrast/colours) and then in the Gimp (usually even more crop & contrast/colours ).

Well, I can't 100% honestly say "no", as the Clarity, Shadows and Highlights adjustments in C1 do some-kind-of-HDR indeed. Here it applies most to #5 (and surprisingly, not that much to #1!). But I don't do any of these arty-farty ones, just anything that is needed to make the picture more clear and readable.
