Around 5 pictures is perfect (you did well). I think you a nice selection of different kind of pictures.
1. Picture is very nice. Picture works a little bit better when you took the shot when the plane cross the contrast of a cloud and sunlight. Because than you can see heat from the engine better and that gives a extra touch. 1 to 2/3 stop more exposured needed.
2. A little bit to late you missed the nice light that you have in the next picture. Also this picture is a little bit to dark in my eyes. You don´t need f/9 for this kind of pictures.
3. Indeed seen a lot past few days. A little bit more before sunset en the light was a little bit better. With more X-wind think about the spot again.
4. Higher shutterspeed. If you had this picture when the cockpit pass and you had zoom in it was a shot out of a million.
Please don´t think that I think you pictures are bad. But since they are very good and you ask for comment I gave you comments. I am very curious about your gear (don´t have exif viewer now). I really hope to see more from you in "the real spotters season". I hope I can also make it a few times this winter.

Thanks. It was already long exposed for a 400mm handheld shot.Bendavid2 wrote:1. Picture is very nice. The sun just dropped behind the CB's (as those in #1). So I thought I'd go for some panning shots. Next time I'll take the better light for sure! My lens (Canon 100-400) is at it's best sharpness @ f/9, so that's why.Bendavid2 wrote:2. A little bit to late you missed the nice light that you have in the next picture. I was amazed that the jumbo turned to me anyway. With some more X wind it will be better, that's for sure.Bendavid2 wrote:3. Indeed seen a lot past few days. A little bit more before sunset en the light was a little bit better. With more X-wind think about the spot again.
Thanks for the hint. I'll take it in mind.Bendavid2 wrote:4. Higher shutterspeed. If you had this picture when the cockpit pass and you had zoom in it was a shot out of a million.
That's why I underlined any. Just want to learn more! Thanks, it's what I was looking for!!Bendavid2 wrote:Please don´t think that I think you pictures are bad. But since they are very good and you ask for comment I gave you comments.

I doubt it, but has anyone spotted Transavia 737-700 PH-XRZ Departing from Runway 24 around 14:45? I was up front!
Jeffrey.

Were you lining up behind the BAW A321? Then you might just be lucky.jeffreyklm wrote:I doubt it, but has anyone spotted Transavia 737-700 PH-XRZ Departing from Runway 24 around 14:45? I was up front!
