And here more pics from my visit to the Chinese Zhuhai Airshow 2010. I have split it into a civilian part and a miltary part. Enjoy!
1. A beautiful J8 was in the static part but because of it length very difficult to capture
2. Another shot of the J8
3. Z9WA chopper
4. When Pakistan meets China
5. JF17 taxies back to the flightline
6. The Hongdu/AVIC L15 advanced trainer
7. A super big surprise was this Ilyushin Il76MD. I took this photo from outside the airfield through the fence
8. Y8 in the evening light

Re: Zhuhai Airshow 2010 military part
For comparison: an F-102 like the one at Kamp van Zeist/Soesterberg is only about two/three feet /75 cm shorter...1. A beautiful J8 was in the static part but because of it length very difficult to capture
The assistance given by Yakovlev OKB to Hongdu is readily apparent...6. The Hongdu/AVIC L15 advanced trainer
Thanks very much for putting up these additional civil and military images!

Re: Zhuhai Airshow 2010 military part
Is it me or are modern military aircraft rapidly becomming more ugly?
e.g. JF17, L7 or L15.
Luckilythere are still the J8, IL76, Y8 anf H6.
Great set Peter, must be fun to see such rare birds !!!

The "heritage flight" aircraft only flew for about two days and then were taken away by Y8C 20145.

19."Sherdil" pilot awaiting his turn
20.guard in front of the KJ200
21.overview with the J8F Finback and ARJ21. The umbrella's are a common sight in China against the sun but a photographers nightmare.....
22. close up of a J10. What I noticed was the "Western" way of the ejection seat triangle and rescue arrows. Also the JH7 presented them like this, while the J8F carried Chinese writing warnings.
