In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for sharing this comprehensive photo report. Well done !

But did I spot toned down markings on two Phantoms ?!? I hope this is just a "special marking", and not the grey end of a colorful tradition. I still feel bad about the loss of squadron markings with the P-3's, and if the F-4 is to follow suit..... :-(

Only saw one 302Sqn F-4 with the toned down tail (out of ~13 on the ramp). It might be a left over from the a/c marked for the "Senkyo" exercise earlier in year??

Sadly only two 203 Sqn P-3 at Shimofusa still carried tail marks... and neither flew :-(
