Thanks for sharing this comprehensive photo report. Well done !
But did I spot toned down markings on two Phantoms ?!? I hope this is just a "special marking", and not the grey end of a colorful tradition. I still feel bad about the loss of squadron markings with the P-3's, and if the F-4 is to follow suit.....

Only saw one 302Sqn F-4 with the toned down tail (out of ~13 on the ramp).
