Not much to add to this, apart from this one perhaps.

Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). If you go, keep into account that you will see only two or three jets per base on the statics. Only Larissa was bigger than the others. We saw just as many in four days throughout Greece than during four hours with the air show at Tanagra in 2008. These are not big events and aimed at the local populace.Polecat wrote:yummie yummie Hans! It has become a tradition for me to say "next year I'll go"but I get a feeling that your poics may persuade me to really go to Ellada in 2011!!
But if you go with a mindset like wanting to see some aircraft during a few days in a country with nicer weather than at home, you'll be all right.
Hans.

I was on the same trip, and this was arranged bij 4aviation. So no public access...
@Stefan: Awesome pic!
@Hans: Ok, I'll try to upload some pics later. My wife managed to damage my computer in my absence, so I have to do some repairing first...

Hans, That wasn't true for the bases I visited (not counting the preserved)If you go, keep into account that you will see only two or three jets per base on the statics.
Andrevida static 6 a/c static
Araxos static 5 a/c static + 3 others visible
Kalamáta 5 a/c + Heli static + 30 others easily visible
Elefsis 4 a/c + 4 Heli static + numerous others visible
Tatoi 5 “prutels” + other operational a/c visible
Tanagra 5 static + 5 other easily visible
Tanagra launched their QRA on Monday late afternoon and I was happy see the recovery (pictures allowed by the security) so 2 extra (but flying from their shelter so that doesn't count.

Yes, you are right, there was a lot more to see. But what Hans means I think is that only the static aircraft are guaranteed; if you see more, it's a bonus. I think when you say that there will be flying activity etc, people will go there with high expectations and will be dissapointed...lievers-online wrote:Hans, That wasn't true for the bases I visited (not counting the preserved)If you go, keep into account that you will see only two or three jets per base on the statics.
