Fotoboek 2010

Regelmatig heb ik hier een aantal topics voorbij zien komen over fotoboeken. Tijd om zelf eens aan de slag te
gaan. Ik ga een boek maken van mijn foto's gemaakt in 2010. In totaal komen er ruim 120 pagina's in volgens
mijn snelle calculatie. Ik moet zeggen de mogelijkheden zijn goed met het softwarepakket van het kruidvat dat
ik gebruik. Heb in het verleden al wel eens een klein boekje gemaakt van een feest van iemand en de kwaliteit
van zo'n boek is goed. In totaal komen er 27 artikelen in te staan die ook op mijn site terug te vinden zijn.
hiernaast verschijnen ook de highlights van de fotogalerij in dit boek. hieronder vind je een aantal previews
van wat het gaat worden. De kwalitiet van de plaatjes hieronder is even wat minder, omdat dit printscreens
zijn die gecropped zijn.

Ziet er goed uit. Ik krijg er wel inspiratie van, maar geen tijd om die bot te vieren helaas

Hi Alex,

My girlfriend has made several wedding photo books this year, and for that reason tried several different photo book print services. She also tried Kruidvat, and her remark about this service was that the results on screen do not match the printed version. She told me that photos are cut a few milimeters, which may be significant for your lay out (cut off tails, pitottubes etc).

She also tried Albelli, but according to her this service has a color deviation between software and print.

Her latest books were printed via http://www.top-fotoalbum.com. She is very satisfied about the results from this service. Another bonus is that you will get a Euro 15,- discount on your first book.

I hope this is of any help to anyone. Personally I still have to make the first book myself, which I hoped to do in the past year. But like with Marcel: So many nice things to do, but so litte time....

Volgens de allernieuwste software die ik gisteren heb gedownload van kruidvat,
valt er indd een klein randje weg. De software geeft dit aan tijdens het editten
als je een plaatje tot aan de pagina rand maakt. Er worden dus dioor het pakket
zelf warnings gegeven wanneer je een dergelijke actie uitvoert. Je kunt hier zelf
dus rekening mee houden door wat meer vlees over te laten op de randen van je
grote paginavullende foto's!

En hoeveel bedoel je met een aantal millimeter?
1, 2, 3 of meer?

Goeie tip van het Kruidvat

Het leuke van Kruidvat is dat ze ALLE besturings systemen ondersteunen, Linux, Mac en zelfs Windows

Kortom.... deze heeft mijn voorkeur.... Dank Ga ik toch eens ff lekker mee aan de gang.

I make my books via Blurb, which uses BookSmart (http://www.blurb.com/). An example of one of my books can be found if you search for "Nellis AFB"
It is an American company, but so far I have had no problems at all and I'm really happy about the quality. Also the shipping is not taking a long time between ordering and receiving.

My parents have used Albelli as well, which have a lot of options, but I know they had to send 1 book back several times because the pages that would come loose.

Also the prices are not too bad at blurb, especially when you think of the Euro getting stronger and stronger.

I agree with DKMikey, Webprint has a very good printing quality and is rather cheap. Never tried their photoalbums though...

Yep, Blurb is pretty good. My father made two books there, and the books were delivered within a week.

I have very good experiences with Blurb. Good quality for a decent price and quickly delivered (they have a printing facility in Eindhoven). Only used it for holiday photo's. Making an aircraft album would force me to actually choose from all my pictures, waaaaay too much work

Albelli heb ik niet zo lang geleden een keer geprobeerd, de kwaliteit was echt slecht, alsof het met een goedkope inkjet geprint was. Zelf heb ik goede ervaringen met Kruidvat, webprint.nl en ProFotonet hebben laatst in een test met posters goede cijfers gescoord (volgens mij in de Digifoto Pro).

Ik deel de negatieve ervaring bij Albelli niet. Ik heb onlangs een 30x30 album daar laten met het maximaal aantal pagina's (120). Kwaliteit was uitstekend en geen kleur afwijkingen waargenomen.
