This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Re: hawgsmoke 2010 @ gowen field Boise Idaho
I am SO angry.
The Warthog is my no1 aircraft. I was planning to go, the timing and location of Hawgsmoke made it a good combo with the World Finals at Bonneville.
However I read some stories that Hawgsmokes are not so great for the general public. Of course I would not have been able to go to the gunnery range, but even the pics on the tarmac really would have been worth be worth the trip.
My favorite place is Davis Monthan AFB, but what would you recommend as the best place for the hog, DM AFB of a Hawgsmole?
Tell us more about the whole thing!
Greets,
Arthur

Awesome pics
And so jealous of those Shooting Range pics.
Only pics of shooting Hogs ive ever made were at Nordhorn, and as most of you probably know, the hogs at Nordhorn dont come that close to you..

The OS and SP teams always loan their aircraft at Hawgsmoke.
