My first Mach-Loop trip - In style
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

My first Mach-Loop trip - In style
Wow, what a couple of days I had on my first Loop-trip. Still can´t believe just how lucky I have been with my choice of days.
I have tried to compile some of my best shots here. I hope U will like my pickings:
DAY 1 - Bluebell - 12OCT
1
My very first Jet through the Loop:
2
Then a "little bit" of Eagle action:
3
4
5
6
A lone photographer on Hill 15 shooting sitting on his kness:
7
Aiming at a photographer - This, for me, just explains the thrill of low level photography:
8
The a LOW Dominie - Not as cool an angle as from the exit though:
9
10
Gorgeous pass by the only Tiffie of the day - a Beauty of a machine:
11
12
13
The Alpha was soon followed, chasen in fact, by the Tonka-boys:
14
Starting to pull up behind the Alpha:
15
16
Last Tonka pass of the day - in spectacular light might I add:
DAY2 - Corris / Cad West - 13OCT
17
We started the day at Corris Corner but apart from this lovey "danish" beer-truck we blanked:
18
While transitting to Cad we got car parked by 3 GR4´s and a high Hawk - We did get another nice one shortly after settling at Cad though:
19
20
And then the second day of wall-2-wall Eagle action kicked in:
21
22
23
Anyway, I hope U enjoyed them,
E.

Number 22, the close-up with the vapours emanating from the leading edges of the wings does it for me...

Love your shots! The picture of the photographer on his knees would be the ultimate cover for a travel brochure
