Hier staat dat Qatar niet komt op Schiphol, ( wel weer naar Brussel natuurlijk ) hoe zit dat nou?

De genoemde plannen in de link van Qatar zijn voor het winter 2010/2011-seizoen. De plannen voor Schiphol komen 1 a 2 kwartalen later en dat valt hier buiten (tussen voorjaar en zomerseizoen kortweg) dus worden die ook (nog) niet genoemd.

Er staat niet dat Qatar niet zal komen op Schiphol, Schiphol wordt namelijk helemaal niet genoemd...

RIJSWIJK - De Amerikaanse toeristische steden Orlando en Miami verschijnen toch in het routenetwerk van ArkeFy. Het bedrijf wilde de vluchten al in de winterdienstregeling aanvangen, maar liet eind juni aan Luchtvaartnieuws.nl weten dat dit 'definitief' van de baan was. De combinatievlucht naar Florida begint nu op 24 juni en wordt tweewekelijks uitgevoerd.


Op maandagen en vrijdagen zal door ArkeFly een Boeing 767-300ER met 283 stoelen verdeeld over drie klassen worden ingezet. De vlucht naar Orlando is rechtstreeks. Daarna vliegt de Boeing 767 naar Miami en vervolgens terug naar Amsterdam.

In Orlando wordt niet naar het bekende Orlando International Airport gevlogen. ArkeFly zegt bewust te hebben gekozen voor Orlando Sanford Airport, dat ten noorden van Orlando ligt. Sanford Airport ligt verder van de stad Orlando en de bekende toeristische parken, maar is volgens de luchtvaartmaatschappij "relatief klein, voordelig en gespecialiseerd in charterverkeer". Thomsonfly, de Britse zustermaatschappij van ArkeFly, vliegt al naar Orlando Sanford Airport. Ook de Britse vakantiemaatschappijen Monarch en Thomas Cook zijn er actief.

ArkeFly biedt passagiers de mogelijkheid om van Amsterdam naar Orlando te vliegen en terug te reizen vanaf Miami. Op die manier kunnen beide steden worden bezocht en bestaat de vliegreis uit twee directe vluchten
