I can imagine with these temperatures
Greetings and well done , Johan Knijn

Re: Antalya AYT 8-9-2010 12-9-2010
No problems at all.. we photographed aircraft landing/taking off mainly in early morining and late afternoon.. During the rest of the day mainly shooting with small zoom on the ramp... Best period to go to AYT SEP/OCT. Still the peak season traffic. Late April is recommended too , as the last week of April Russian spring holidays start. According to our handling agent the airport is saturated with Russians in this week... From MAY/AUG better avoid AYT.. too hot, sun too high..JK wrote:As said before ; great great pictures from a great airport wich i visited myself in 2008 !!

The only problem we had.. to stay alert what was landing/taking off on both runways....too much going on in the morning.. You need transport on the ramp nowadays as otherwise you will miss a lot. Same if you are standing on the outside of the field.. You will miss a lot if you are not alert.. The old procedure using 1 runway for take offs and 1 for landings much more relaxed...
See if they have reconsidered next year....
