Heathrow LHR 23-27AUG
Hello all,
Just arrived yesterday back at Schiphol after five days London.
There was of course beside Central London enough time for spotting at Heathrow.
The only one for now which is not completely usual. The aircraft blocked the runway for about 30 minutes

(Pic. is taken through glass which was not very easy)

You must submit the CSA pic to airliners.net. It's a classic and will surely be voted on of top pics. Excellent shot.

Great shots!
What's the story behind the a/c blocking the runway for 30 minutes. What happened?

All picture are difficult I think.
1. Congratulation about the best picture of a.net in the last 24 hours.
You have a picture of the whole plane + burning tire.
EDIT: I see you use noise reduce one the a.net version.
2. You stand exactly on the right spot. That isn't luck. Very nice picture indeed. You have that picture in 1600 wide?
4. I like this one the most. I think you where running like hell. Are you where lucky indeed. I am very jealous. I think you use best shutter and aperture setting. Maybe you can pass them;)
Very nice to see these picture from LHR. And not just the common ones.
Thank you.

2. I mean with luck the fact that two A380s were behind each other.Bendavid2 wrote: 2. You stand exactly on the right spot. That isn't luck. Very nice picture indeed. You have that picture in 1600 wide?

Nr. 4 is absolutely stunning and my favorite sofar, even so more knowing CSA will cease to operate to the UK (LHR/MAN) effective Winterschedule 2010/2011...
(you took them at LHR just in time)...

Almost, a little bit down the road called Ibis Had a great stay overthere and didn't expected the great room location. But there were also many rooms with a view of no more than a few meters; view on another building next to the hotel.nustyR wrote: Is the lazy room in the Renaissance hotel situated ?
