Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Nellis Red Flag 10/04

Post by Hans Antonissen »

Just got back from a nice visit to the USA. This Flag proved to be a very nice one. Not only because of the interesting participants but also the perfect departure and recoverytimes. This was a day/day flag which meant a late morning wave and a late afternoon wave. The second one proved to be one of almost perfect photoconditions. Launching between 16.45 and 17.30, especially since runway 03 was in use for takeoffs and recovering between 18.30 and 19.15 on runway 21 gives you excellent lightconditions on the aircraft. Here are some first impressions. Hope you enjoy them.

Wooow , really nice. Do you have any more?? Nice to see the difference in nozzles between the US and Saudi F-15's. Why did the Saudi's opted to leave the turkeyfeathers on?? Or do they use differrent engines?

The guy in the back is really enjoying the view :)

Stunning pictures Hans !
are you editing your pictures with Photoshop ? because i think you can improve
them quit easily. I did some little tweaks on yours in a few seconds... ( unsharp and levels )
Currently my tweaks are GIF images so the quality will even much better !

success
