Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

HOW, TELL ME HOW!!!!!!
Do you know the pilots? Did you bribe them? Have you paid their drinks at the sunset bar? Have you been knocking on the door for hours? I really want to know how you got in the flight deck while in flight.
I'm flying to Kefvlavik this friday. I want a flight deck visit after the flight for sure. But if there's a chance of getting to view a 757 flight deck while in flight would be uhm....: my dream since I'm little! (Altough in that dream I'm the captain )
(If you want, you can send me a PM about what you did to get in there. I'll appreciate it very much if you can give me a tip about what to do.)
Very nice pictures all. We all love SXM dont we.. Ahhh I wanna go back there!
Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Magic thing is to know the right people and don't think it's easy to pay a enroute flightdeck visit on a ''foreign'' airline like in your case Icelandairjeffreyklm wrote:I'm flying to Kefvlavik this friday. Yeah that's also what I thought.. It's easier to conversate with a Dutch pilot like on KLM then speaking english with a Icelandic pilot.. May bring some confusions.Borobudur wrote:Magic thing is to know the right people and don't think it's easy to pay a enroute flightdeck visit on a ''foreign'' airline like in your case Icelandair
Ah, it's all about the right people.. I see that.. Well, then I have to place my bets on asking after arrival.
Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Nice set of pics.
How cute, the captain allowed the 'co-co' to touch some buttons. 2 years of training, a financial lone of more then 155.000 euro's and you only are allowed to do the autopilot and the radio
I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.
