Woow Warthog, our pics are stunning! Well done.
unfortunatly the UK-audience really favor their history so indeed all attention goes to the Vulcan instead of the AH-64 (the most spectacular helie demo this year to be seen  )
The Apache manoeuvres were very exciting and unique for a helicopter. The demo team tried to please everyone by performing a manoeuvre on either end of the long runway and this took way to much time.
I think we are getting a bit too chauvinistic here. We Dutch tend to think the Apache demo is the best thing since sliced bread. In respect to yesterdays demo I do not agree with you. The demo was simply not that good. The commentary from the coach was poor (bad English and a lot of unnecessary silences) the music was off (had to be started twice??) And why did it fly away from the crowd quite some distance to perform the 'hammerhead' manouvre? By the time they did the hammerhead it was a tiny spec in the distance. :|

But...... that's my personal opinion, just like you guys have yours

But back to topic, a few more from me. (Damn I wish I had a 400mm lense :( )

It flew somewhere between 1200 and 1230. Quite a long demo actually.

Hmmm.. got a memory lapse here... what WAS I doing ? I probably was out and about shopping  Mustn't have been a noisy demo I guess... :?

And, now that I come to think of it, in the field of "no-noise-aeroplanes", did that American sailplane fly as well?

Just one before heading to the beach :D

I picture which I had in mind for a few years and finally I succeeded.

From a photographic point of view, the best display.

After the Red Arrows we went back to our tent and while preparing our meal we were treated with the Synchro Pair flying very nice and really low over us.

Then the Super Hornet departed...

... and and went RTB in time for the BBQ (nice conversation on the tower freq ;-)).
