Nice to see someone already got up early to start this topic. It was indeed a great day with lots of sunshine and some nice opertunities to shoot the F-1's as well from the outside as from the inside thanks to GRAS. Here are some quick scans of this wonderful day.

Re: LFSR Reims 22-06-2010
Hi gents,
after some busy weeks in the airshow circuit and some other events, its time to share some images from various events, as it will be a bit quite till the next event.
End of June I was able to visit Reims Airbase, shortly prior disbanding of ER 1/33 "Belfort" and my main focus was to capture the special colored ER 1/33 Mirgae F.1, and we were succesfull - the a/c flew as scheduled that day.
It was a great atmosphere in Reims that day and also that evening, and I have never witnessed nightflying till 04.30 am the next day - wowwwww!!!!
We and plenty of other enthusiasts were really happy that day , as we got plenty of flying Mirage´s......
It was a long day starting early in the morning as we drove to Reims and leaving that base around midnight back home. But hey, for a Mirage F1 it was easy for me to do that....especially when you are rewarded with a great sunset shots and even a nightshooting too, under a crispy sky and Mirages deaparting into that sunset.
Thanks must go to everyone involved in Reims, and all the air and ground crews that worked hard to prepare the special adorned Mirage F1, and make this shooting happen..... from the tow-truck driver, technicians who were responsible for positing and illuminate the Mirage and switching on all lights on the F1, as we like to have it. Everyone did an extraordinary job on that day.....
Luckily the weather god has a faible for Mirage sunset and even nightshots, as u can see.
Ok enough for now, let tell the pictures the rest of the story...... hope you enjoy them, and comments & critiques are more as welcome.
Cheers
Mick
Reims has a really nice area around the base....
First thing we saw after we arrived, were two dual Mirage F1B - what a great start!
Really friendly aircrews used also their airbrakes and lights to do some greetings....
Reims has great spost around the field and we could even see Mirage F.1CT too
Mirage F1B gettin airborne for a photo-mission with the special colored one....
Highlight of the day inside the base now.....the last flight ER 1/33 "Belfort" Mirage F.1CR
We even saw the beauty flying......
Still flying around too....
The it was time to start the nightsession with some sunset shots
Special colored during sunset.....what a beauty
Mirage F1 ER 1/33 during the magic hour......
Even from an elevated position she looks beautiful
