Question about in Hamburg and Wittmund

Hi

I might pass by Hamburg and Wittmund during the summer and then it would only make sense to do some spotting.
I have read the Scramble Airfield Guides for both Airbus in Hamburg and Wittmund. But I would like your input as well about security, taking pictures without a ladder (is it possible?) etc. I will most likely be there on a Friday, but is there any movements on a Friday?

A friday afternoon is not a good time for Wittmund. You won't see a lot as they are already starting their weekend then.

A ladder is recommended at Wittmund, but you can do without from a sort of hill.
