Hello,
Been ages ago since I posted anything here (sorry ) So here goes:
Went to Mildenhall hoping for more action than during my last visit (with 1 Herc departing and nothing else for 4 hours after which I left). I was also hoping for some Eagle action (LN F-15´s are besad here at the moment) and as things turned out I wasnt dissapointed.
As we came off the A11 we saw 4 Eagles departing in 2 pairs. In fact another 2 was already up as well making it 6 in total.
As we pulled into the field a KC-10 was on final:
We had also seen a Herc depart which came back to do some Runway 29 landing with a tailwind. Luckily it departed again and came in on Runway 11 for a close up:
Soon the Eagles starting arriving back all taking a low noisy foot print approach (no break over the field):
An attempt to illustrate how close to the action ones can get at Mildenhall:
One of the local KC-135´s went up for about an hour before returning for circuit bashing:
Apart from the Eagles this was a highlight as well (even if a Mildenhall regular):

Fantastic set. Very nice detail on a lot of the (landing) pics.
Anymore perhaps?
Either way; Great job!

Nice pics. I used to camp near that yellow trailer there, is it still possible to put up a tent here?
