Schiphol 01 Jan 2010: EC635 T2+ Iraqi AF
Now at S77 is the pod/cabin of EC.635 T2+. Con. No. 0858. made in 2009. The helicopter is compleatly covered by white sheeting and sits on a pallet. No sign of the rear section.

Plate read T2+. Helicopter went onto PH-MCR this evening

At the top of the plate in a box stould YI-293. Could this be it's registration if it is for Iraqi AF.

That is very well possible. Other helicopters in the Iraqi inventory are Bell JetRangers (YI-230 series) and Mil 17s (YI-260 series).
BTW, this particular helicopter was air tested as D-HCBU[2]. Did the plate show EC135 or EC635?

I presume they are fully assembled and test flown at donauworth then disassembled and shipped out to Iraqi then? Anyone confirm?

This helicopter has now turned up here in South Africa. The serial number plate definately indicates Iraqi serial number YI-293. If anybody wants a photograph just send me an e-mail and I'll send it on with pleasure.
