Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Doesn't mean we should give up without trying though:... seeing pics like the one made by NustR makes that you don't want to post your own pics anymore...
I still have a lot to learn about post-processing these kind of pictures but perhaps Nusty has some pointers

I think you did quite well. First tip try another whitebalance in your picture number one. The two klm asia pictures are very nice.EC wrote:

And nustyR I like you arty picture. I think I give it a try tomorrow. I hope I will make it because last week I try it twice and I fell in sleep again. 3.30 is much to early for a student!
And Jeroenow you have a very nice full frame and I think also a 300mm prime. Try to go to iso 100 and f/4 if you have the 2.8 prime and otherwise the f/5.6 if you have the 4.0 prime. It give go the possibility to digital crop more. But what I said your camera should do iso 400 easily.
Above setting are just for the start. Second tip do not stay for more than 45 minutes at the same spot for variation. It more often "boeiender" for the visitor of the topic. Again I think you combination of camera and lens could do much more.

Very nice pics guys (and girls?)!
Nusty is out of the ordinary, the quality of his pics is of a level which is hard to meet for most of us as he has the ability to think out of the box in a special way. If Nusty would be the standard, most of still would have a lot to learn. He would be at the horizon while we would still be here.
Enjoy taking pictures because you like it and not to meet Nusty's level as it is almost impossible.

Hello,
Nice pictures.
I have a question, did anyone take picture of the PH-BFB landing at about 7:30 LT at rwy 06 (kaagbaan)?
Thank you,
Regards, Daedalus
