Could somebody help me identifying this Tucano?
It landed at Nellis AFB on march 5th with callsign “Pony 1”.
The number on the plane says 163056 but in all databases that is a MH-53E.
thanks helping me with the puzzle...

Re: Tucano question at Nellis
Hi Rogier,
I don't have it's ID on hand right now, but you could check our report from last year (Scramble issue of June I guess). We noted that one at Fallon and it also sported a civil N registration underneath the grey paint. It's a factory owned Embrear T-29 that is being used by the US DoD, possibly to test as part of trials to provide the armed forces with a light attack/close air support aircraft.
Cheers,

Re: Tucano question at Nellis
Think this is the Tucano rom the Imminent Fury program??
The NAVY is looking for ground attack aicraft to support their special forces/SEALS. The Tucano is still owned by Embrear but is leased by the NAVY. It's kinda hush hush so that's probably why they're not clear on the reg. Program has been on the way for a few years now so it's no wonder you could have seen it before. Especially at a NAS like Fallon.
-edit- ah Arco just beat me to it

It is said to be N314TG, Embraer EMB-314B1, c/n. 31400082, of EP Aviation LLC.
Probably flying with "fake" markings, to avoid to many questions.
For the general american public it is now just another navy plane.
