Re: Tribute to the F-4 Phantom
Lovely Phantoms from Victorville, Warthog. I was there briefly a couple of times in the early 1980s, but never had a chance to take pictures. The place was Phantoms to the horizon as I recall.
Here is a question for the Phantom cognoscenti among us:
1. A. What air-air missile did USAF insist on equipping its F-4s with initially?
B. Did any other nations use this missile with the Phantom?

Re: Tribute to the F-4 Phantom
Thanks Eddie. I wasn't sure about B myself.
Warthog, yer pics are gone at my end, Mate. Says bandwidth exceeded. Do you only put them up for a little while? Seems like this happens often with yours.

Re: Tribute to the F-4 Phantom
My own impression of 2 Rhino´s coming in to land at Phightertown Wittmund..a real airplane.
Amazing that after 35 years I am still taking pictures of real live Rhino´s.. a legend of an aircraft.
