I do not read Magyar, but there seems to be some news about Turkish stars. Will they participate?

They have been invited. However the status designation (confirmed or not) is unfortunately not clear for me as well. In the Hungarian version it indicates confirmed participation for Turkey with no a/c type specified. In the English version it indicates that invitation has been sent.

Some good news:
-Spanish Mirage F1 flying display is confirmed
-Romanian MiG-21 and IAR-99 Soim flying display confirmed
-Serbian MiG-29 static confirmed
The other highlights You were speaking about (Thunderbirds, Blues, Su-27s, and Su-30s) are invited every occasion, seemingly they are the idea fixa of the organizers. Sooner or later one of them will visit Kecskemét, there were other participants invited continuously that took part finally (for example, Greek A-7s). The Turkish Stars are frequent visitors since their relative proximity.

Spanish CASA C-295 confirmed as well.
I was wondering why the G-222 is listed with Italy as - at least as far as I know - all have been withdrawn from service and transferred to Afghanistan...

They probably mean an Italian C-27J Spartan, which (still) looks a lot like a G.222 (and was present in 2008 if I remember correctly)Tomcat_hun wrote:I was wondering why the G-222 is listed with Italy as - at least as far as I know - all have been withdrawn from service and transferred to Afghanistan...

The type designations on the homepage aren't too precise, it can be a Spartan.
