Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
DACT exercise in the Gran Canarie "Fighting in heaven"
When all the europe is under cold, rain and snow the only decision to take is to fly to Gran Canarie.
Me, along other two "caballeros" went to Gando air base to follow the 2010 Dact exercise between Spanish Air Force and US Air Force.
About 40 planes are still present for this exercise that will finish at the end of this week.
Hornet from Ala 12, 15 e 46, Eurofighter from Ala 11, Fokker e Super Puma from SAR squadron of Gando...F-15C from Lakenheath and Nato Awacs...this was a good reason to fly to gando this week.
Now it's time for some pictures...hope you enjoy
Cheers
Giovanni Colla
PS - A big thanks to all the Ala 46 and to Alejandro of the http://www.thefightercommunity.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Great set of pics thanks for sharing. Are they made from outside the field?

Landing shots are from outside...taxy and take off shots are from inside! Ala 46 organized a small spotterday on tuesday 9th...we accessed a small terrace above one of the maintenance center...it was a great view from there!henkderidder wrote:Great set of pics thanks for sharing.
