There is no problem to land a F100 at EHLE.
afaik it will be flown and be OFA, the oldest F100.

Cheers,

Well about 6 months ago it was the Fox Alpha.
Whether this is still true I do not know but I haven't heard of another choice so.

At this moment talks are still ongoing whether it will be flown or not and in what status the a/c will remain after being parked at EHLE.
This is because the a/c might be useful for other parties depending the technical status of it.

According the Aviodrome it will take place in a few months from now, no further info is available to me.

Although probably true for this F100 in the future we will see F70's and 100's quite regularly at EHLE.
This month the construction of the new Qaps facility gets underway so.......

PH-OFA is not the oldest, PH-OFJ flew 4 months before -OFA's first flight.. Anyway, great that one will be preserved!

@Aviopic: Yes, I saw the other good news on the website too.

This makes EHLE more attractive again. I live about 7 kilometres from the airport, but the last time I spotted there was more than six months ago. Love to go to EHLE again when this will be finished.

That's true in terms of date OFA 14-Apr.89 versus 11-Jan.89 for OFJ.
For me being a Fokker employee OFA will remain the older one C/N 11246 versus 11248 for OFJ

Obviously from a museum point of view the Q1 was the preferred A/C of choice and deal was made with Fokker long time ago but something with the name Rekkof came in between.
So I'll guess this is a replacement although afaik nobody asked for it.

Yes well expect EHAM style spotter defenses by the time EHLE becomes a regional airfield.
I expect more news concerning Fokker and probably EHLE somewhere this summer.

I wouldn't worry too much about the spotting facilities in the future. The airfield is already fenced, but there's lots and lots of opportunity to spot in the area, since it's all fields and woods surrounding the airfield. Still, a lot has to happen though to make it an interesting field to go spotting (read: traffic). If it gets the amount of flights RTM has, it's not really worth it.

Let me guess... Spyker is buying Rekkof? :P (would be close by, Zeewolde to Lelystad is only a few minutes ;)).

Rekkof = dead. I was hinting to something else. Another Fokker for the collection.

Cheers!
