Heli-Weekend 2010 Grenchen (Swiss)
I heard about a heli weekend in Grenchen (Swiss) on march 20th and 21st 2010. Do someone knows more about this event or did someone went last year? I'm from Belgium and want to go, but I'm afraid that this is a very small event. Is it the long distance worthly (about 700km for me)?
Re: Heli-Weekend 2010 Grenchen (Swiss)
I have been there in 2009 and it's not worthly to drive 700km's. We were already in the area and passed by. I have been there for one hour and saw 3 mil. helies and about 15 civ.
There is a small static where the public is aloud to enter some helies and the fences around them ( if there are any ) are very close to the choppers so no good photo conditions.
I will not recommend this event, unless you have to drive 1 hour and already in the area.
ciao gr ralph

Here a list with the planned military helicopters:
Switzerland: Super Puma, EC635, probably an Alouette III
Belgium: Alouette III
Germany: Sea King, CH-53 G
Probably a guest from the US Army
