Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"
Another peaceful moment in 1975: throwing stones with pudding at each other ,as you can see the hit change was very low: Jan Schets (left) and Frans van Zelst(middle) did not worry that much during an "heavy enemy stone attack". I was the only who respond

Here's number 7 of the Spotter Book. This one is with Dick Wels and John Kraaijkamp (he really didn't change much in the last 30 years).

And here's a picture of Dan Brown's competitor, author of the bestseller ' De Spotter ', Mr. Hans Drost. Will he be signing copies of his book at some open house this year?

Wow! I guess that's me. I was hoping that there would no pictures around of the author himself.
"Great" camera by the way (Zenith with a lousy 200mm lens).

Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"
They were great, them Zenith's. I always thought I was the only spotter with one of those. I think I still have mine lying around somewhere gathering dust. I used it with a 135 mm lens and converter with a diameter of no more then 5 cm, which made it look very weird. Can't remember what aperture the combination sported, but it can't have been very goodHansDrost wrote:Wow! I guess that's me. I was hoping that there would no pictures around of the author himself.

Very funny to read your stories BTW. Even though they were written in the very beginning of my career in the SSB-scene in 1978/79, I keep checking out the background of the pictures to see if I was there.

Come on. Stop it guys. Okay, I gained a few ounces. I color my hair (what's left of it) slighty gray, but ...I still have those handsome looks.
