Today i had a chance to visit the Taipei aviation museum, it's a 5 minute walk from the terminal and located between the 2 runways of TPE.
The museum is not that big, and consist mainly of pictures and models focussing on both civil and military taiwan aviation history, it's pretty interesting
with good explanations in english. Inside there is a Cessna 182 some guy flew over the pacific, all the other planes are outside.
There is also a lookout tower thats part of the museum with good views over the airport and both runways, you can see it in the background of some pictures.
I'm not that good with older military stuff, feel free to add or correct!

According to the IFS-website, the F-104 is F-104A (c/n 1134), 56-846, "4254".

I think you're right Mickey312, In this little more side way pic of the starfighter you can see the number 4254 (with some imagination)
