WAS het maar de A380! Weet iemand hoe of wanneer de A380 komt, ALS die komt?
Emirates is wel cool dat het hier komt, weer een nieuw vliegtuig om te spotten.

Schiphol doesn't expect to be used by A380s for the next years (except maybe one-off visits due to equipment change and only A380 is available or medical diversions), as was said by Schiphol when the first AF 380 was delivered. (I thought there was some discussion about a NOTAM which also limited the number of runways at EHAM that were allowed for A380, no aircraft on the terminal side of the A4 highway). Eh, sorry if I remember some mods to their An-225 nightmare by pointing to this.

Little bit off-topic, but I believe AMS can handle an 380 at the E-gates.aviodromefriend wrote:Schiphol doesn't expect to be used by A380s for the next years (except maybe one-off visits due to equipment change and only A380 is available or medical diversions), as was said by Schiphol when the first AF 380 was delivered. Some runways and taxi ways are prepared.
Also the gates on the end of the E-gates (E20-E24) are ready.

Re: Emirates to fly AMS-DXB in 2010
I think we are very lucky here, rather than the A380 we now get airplanes from two different series here in AMS.
The B777-200LR, not on many European routes and the B777-300ER of which they have a lot.
