Technical Museum Tolyatti, Russia
In 2001 the Technical Museum of AvtoVaz (producer of Lada cars) opened in Tolyatti, Russia (Samara region). There is a lot to see there: airplanes, helicopters, spacecraft, steam locomotives, army tanks and even a submarine of 2000t heavy! I visited this museum in August 2009. I thought the submarine was the main attraction, although it lay just outside the museum grounds.
BTW, my visit was on April 24th, '09. Hope I'm not double-posting these.
