Nice action catch! Exactly the right moment, hook down and all.
If you want to make it even better, try using Neat Image to reduce grains in the scan. I do it with all of mine. See above.

I agree with you Hans, but to add some commend to your scans: I think you should take the time to clone (or whatever method you like) away the dustspots. Now it looks like it's not finished and hastely done. They deserve better treatment because they are very neat indeed!

Peter

Ps is "neat image" a part of CS3??

Hi Peter,

you are right, but it is a hell of a job to find the smallest and the last ones. I know I missed some of them. Particularly with the Taiwanese ones I was a bit pressed for time. Will see if I can redo them this weekend. I don't like the T-34C and the AT-3 myself too
And about Neat Image, there is a stand alone version and a plug in available. Advantage of the latter is that you can use it in combination with a mask/correction layer technique to de-noise certain parts of the image. Very often, you will get patches of grass looking like pea soup or a van Gogh painting when the sky above is fine. I like van Gogh though, but not like this ;-)

Hi Hans,

Thanks a lot man!! I found and installed it in CS3. Works like a "tiet". Better than the usual tools!
Thanks again!

A little closer to home... I can't remember when and where (either Eggebeck or Schleswig-Jagel) but what I do remember that Turkish Air Force RF-4E's were seldom seen in our part of Europe so I was lucky to capture this former Luftwaffe one before shelter 12:

RNZAFB Ohakea 1999... one of many RNZAF MB339's that day:

Unfortunately no local (T)A-4K's as they were deployed to NAS Nowra, Australia... Fortunately I got 'something' in return: RAAF RF-111C's from RAAFB Amberley, Queensland. Here RF-111C A8-134:

17 August 1996, Eggebek.
Don't you catalogue your slides, Jeroen? I see you often don't know place and date anymore. A bit unfortunate if you don't, as you have some real eyecatchers here.

Thanx Hans!!! You are in control...

99 out of 100 times I do know where I took the pictures but dates (and - in case of aviation photography - serial numbers) are not important to me... but hey that's me :-)

Anyway further with the topic... Tu95 Bear taken from the ATC Tower at Zhukovsky Air Bas, former Soviet Union in 1993:
