The week before I visited KAR had seen beautifull weather as well as a press day, which I couldnt attend. The standard photos I got are all horrible but some of the arty farties are better (in my own eyes at least)

Bold Avenger 09
During september NATO exercise Bold Avenger took place. Most aircraft were based at Karup, Denmark with F-16 being the dominant type (Belgium, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Denmark, Norway & Portugal all bringing the Viper to the party. Other aircraft was French Mirage 2000N´s, Transalls a Sentry and a Czeck AN-26. Some aircraft such as the Dutch Vipers and Lakenheath Eagles operated from home base.
