During my vacation in and around seattle I was on whidbey island. I took some shots on a beach that was near NAS whibdey island. Pity that I was too late with fixing a basevisit
Not the best weather conditions, but I shot some nice pics.
Please tell me which is the best,
thanks in advance,
Some Prowlers and Growlers @ NAS Whibdey Island

Hi Toppiero.
Put about the weather. I Like the Prowler pair. Do you have geo-tag, or do you remember at which spot these were taken. And how many mm ? Seems they were quite high ?

taken with 300mm. they weren't really high. they were in landing for the NAS. you can find the beach to drive south after deception pass. It is just 5mins driving south from deception pass. From there just walk to the beach and you can see them landing right in front of you.

I doubt if you were 'too late'. I tried the same (sent a letter some months ago) and when I didn't hear anything I sent an email too and got neither any reply. So I guess this is just not the base to arrange a visit .toppiero wrote:Pity that I was too late with fixing a basevisit
