Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Awesome shots Martijn!

I heard a loud crack of thunder as I was loading the dishwasher and went onto the kitchen balcony to see. Saw this thick black cloud floating in from the south-west and a Fokker F100 take off from 24. I figured they would stop operations for a short while in such weather (lotsa lightning), but then I saw HV make this odd early turn to the right (See Nusty's last photo). I knew it was about time for JAL to take off, so I grabbed my camera and waited for it. (Awfully far away to take photos, but hey, it's fun) It came 3 minutes later:

How I wished I was standing where Nusty took his shot, but I think all-in-all only a handful of planes made that early turn. There was no way to set off to the airport and still get a piece of the action. Jammer...

Hi Nusty...

Just love your pictures.
What kind of equipment do you use?
With that I mean, what type of lens(es), how much mm, extender yes or no...
To be short, how do you create these wonderful shots?

Grtz.

Thanks again :!:
This day I used the Canon 50D with the EF 500mm F/4 without converter.
Back-up cam is the old 5D with 100-400 or 24-105.
