Hi There
Yesterday I went to AMS, because I love to take airplane pictures with "spooky weather".
And I was lucky...here some results from the buitenveldertbaan/
1.First nothing happend, it was sunny...nice propblur I think...
2.My first highlight of the day.
3.Then it went darker and darker
4.Nice with a dark background and vortex at the flaps
5.Then there was a lot of rain...and a soaked runway
[
6.My second highlight...with a little vortex
7.One wheel touchdown
8. My abosulte highlight...Lighting!!
I had a great afternoon and i hope you enjoyed the pictures, till the next time..

Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Fann vad nice!!!
Really awesome shot: perfect lightning, nicely formed at the contours of the aircraft, lovely! A bit noisy though, what hey who cares with this composition!!!!
You could have succeeded by posting only that pic!
I was really thinking, what was then so special as u said in the intro... but wow what a finishing touch!!
Were you timing for it or just a lucky shot that surprised you afterwards??

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.
