I was recently "criticized" by a Scramble moderator (will not mention names ) for not posting any photos taken in Greece on this forum, so three months after coming back it's about time to show them. They were made during six days in May at five Hellenic Air Force bases and one Hellenic Navy base. Here we go.. hope you enjoy them!
Day 1: Marathon-Kotroni
Day 2: Larissa
Day 4: Araxos
Day 5: Superbase Andravida
Day 6: Kalamata
It was difficult to select only a dozen shots, so if you want to see more (and in high resolution) check my photos at Airliners.net.

Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Great pictures, indeed
I like the head-on shot of the Phantom best, and the Corsair with the practise bombs is also very nice!
Best regards,
Walter

Great shots, DJ!
A shame there is no Archangel show like there was last year, because that was a great opportunity to secure shots like DJ shows us in one day.
Hans.

Re: Six days in Greece..
Well.... prepare your gear since it seems that there is going to be an Archangel in September 2010 and is rumoured to be a big one. Unofficial HAF sources insist that invitations to various participants have already been sent and that the organization team is already at work. last chance to see an A-7 around.
