A normal person answered this:
The "part" in the left corner is the air intake of the APU.

If you mean the "part" in the lower left corner of the S7 pic, then it is not the APU air intake. It's the outflow valve. It's used to control the cabin presssure.
Kind regards

Those outflow valves were open on multiple Airbii. Fun to see the pics, I was there that day as well :) (running in and out of the building because of the rainshowers ;))

The outflow valves are always open when the aircraft is on the ground.

Sure, but I had to be really careful not to get the aircraft overly lit. Some pictures were: black background, aircraft 'glow in the dark.'

See picture one: what a lousy job Lufthansa did when applying the titles (some need more 'space' than the other aircraft).

I don't see the 'lousiness'? You must take into account that it's sometimes quite hard to make two aircraft exactly the same. Take for example BA. If you take a look around LHR you may see that the waves on the tails differ somewhat.

I think you're right about the BA tails, that's a difficult job.
The guys who did the LH titles should be ashamed, just read the drawings while you do your job.
