Jever (ETNJ) - 2009

Post by EHAM »

Hi all,

Can someone tell me if stairs are necessary at Jever to photograph aircraft on final runway 28?
Many thanks in advance!

Regards,

Activity at Jever

Post by WesleyW »

Good afternoon folks,

Does somebody knows anything about the activity from Jever Airbase in Germany? I just want to go to this week to Jever to take some few pictures.. Does somebody know what's flying over there? And does someone have some nice places for spotting at Jever AB?

Thanks a lot!

Kind regards,

Wesley W

Wesley, some looking around on this website will answer most of your questions, even if you cannot log in to our Jever airfield guide. Don't forget to check the Photo forum.

Photo oppurtunities are very nice!
Now flying over there are F4's and A4's from Wittmund because Wittmund is closed until end July.
Look at my site for some pictures from Jever.

Indeed photographing at Jever is good but be aware that security is a tad less tolerant than at Wittmund itself.

Some of 2nd June 2009.

Hmmm so it's not permitted to take some shots with photocamera? Hmm are we also not allowed to stay behind the fence?

Kind regards,

Yes, they may chase you of. Guess it has something to do with the stationed units of the Objektschutz Regiment.

We saw only a very little security at the base.
And they were not even looking at us ;)
