Re: EHAM 30-06-2009 MIL
A quick Google search brought the following visitor from an old Brussel log: "2506 An-26 Slovak AF SDoLt n/s SQF2506". So I guess that's the one..

Re: EHAM 30-06-2009 MIL
2506 visually confirmed, seemed like a VIP transport: crew in suit and passengers where welcomed my a high ranking Army officer (red band around the dressed hat)

Ruud, can you confirm parking position (front row at East)?
Thanks, Peter

Re: EHAM 30-06-2009 MIL
Photography is not too bad but not ideal either..., clear view from the rear - right side but that's about it, nose / front side is blocked by other aircraft.Fogg wrote:Oh, well, how is photography?

(Thanks T7 for the right location, I might remember that spot for a next occasion )

Re: EHAM 30-06-2009 MIL
Herc came in too low and perhaps that's the reason why she landed on 36R instead of 04, what they normally do...
Been there for approx 20 minutes but she never turned up at East so I assume she turned around and departed again? (can anyone confirm?)
The Slovak An26 has been turned around, nose heading to the fence now, which highly improved photo options (except for the few covers that are now in place so she might be a nightstopper?)

Re: EHAM 30-06-2009 MIL
Euh this topics clearly mentions P10 as parking for the Hercules. For me this makes sense that the C130 used 36R instead of 04. The end of 36R is near P10 and 04 is next to SPL east, where they did not have their parking this time. Although the C-130s always used SPL east for parking and refeulling, this time P10 is used. and hopefully for us, also the last time
