Slotallocationlist W09/10 is online with some interesting new airlines and airlines who requested a big amount of extra slots: Aegean, China Southern(448->703 slots), Lufthansa(4844->6116), Easyjet(5200->6864), Etihad, SN Brussels and Spanair.
Star Alliance wants to attack KLM?

I believe we see it every year that airlines which are not flying into Amsterdam yet, request slots, but they don't use them afterwards.

China Southern= SkyTeam

SN BRussels requested 308 slots. Komt dus overheen met 1 vlucht per dag
Spanair requested 1056 slots. Is ongeveer 3 vluchten per dag. Hadden ze tot voor kot ook altijd op SPL
Lufthansa requested 1272 extra slots. Dat is 4 vluchten per dag extra (das wel veel)

Daarbij, een slot is nog geen werkelijke vlucht, as earlier mentioned!
All times are local times!

Regards, N.

Garuda also has Boeing 777-300ERs on order for first delivery in 2010. These are to be used for services to Europe and the USA but Satar says "We plan to start Europe services with flights to Amsterdam via Dubai using its A330s."
That's nice, but Garuda will first have to cope with the fact that all Indonesian aircraft are banned from European airspace at this time due to safety issues...
They are working on hard improving this, how ever these plans of returning to AMS are continous announced for the past 2 years (and no showing up so just wait and see)
It looks like it might happen after all. According to the Indonesian authorities, Garuda and three other airlines might be removed from the black list as early as next month.
So who knows, maybe we will see those A330s in new colours this winter in AMS.....

Ik denk dat er helemaal niks gaat komen van Etihad. De vrachtdienst is inmiddels ook al opgeheven.

And......easyJet increases MXP-AMS-MXP to 3x/daily:

- arr. 09.05 - dep. 09.30
- arr. 15.50 - dep. 16.15 NEW frequency
- arr. 20.05 - dep. 20.30

Abolishing the ticket tax is positive for the NL economy with at least 4x new daily easyjet services.
