Mountains and aircraft
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Do you mind if I post the same picture here as I've posted in the wingview topic?
Sorry, I'm just so proud of this picture. Mount Rainier is (one of my) favorite places on earth.

First one taken at Girona, last three at Barcelona from the spotting tower. Not the highest of mountains, but better than in Holland.
Like this even the most boring Ryanair 737 can become exciting with such a surrounding.

Re: Mountains and aircraft
This summer I joined the IACE (the International Air Cadet Exchange) towards Germany. I had two wonderfull weeks, together with 5 other cadets (coming from France, England, Isreal, the USA and Switzerland).
On Kaufbaren AB, halfway through the exchange, we were able to fly some fixed-wing AC's and gliders. I had the opportunity to shoot some A2A pics aswell. The German pilot that I flew
with spoke poor English. My camera was facing the sun and he didn't understand me, asking him to turn the other way around.
Anyway: the IACE has been a wonderfull experience for me where I've met a loads of great people. See you next year guys!
Two pics I shot during our flying tour through the Alps.

Sven
