Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Mountains and aircraft

Post by Ron C130 »

In other topics I already saw very nice pictures of aircraft in Switserland (axalp) or Wales (the loop), but there more nice mountain views in the world, I think. So here is one of mine to start with. Mount Washington in about 1988 taken at the London Ontaris Airshow with a Nimrod blocking the view... Not the best quality, but who has similar pictures from Mount Fuji or Mount Kilimanjaro ?

Thanx for you remarks Richard. I was well aware of the dustspots, as I mentioned about the quality... Wasn´t hoping for remarks to that, but to the idea of the topic.
So guys, put your noses into your archives and dig me a better picture with mountains (and aircraft!)

Not quite exotic as Mt Fuji or Kilimanjaro but closer to home,

Innsbruck, spring 2009. I personally love the contrast between the yellow aircraft and the white snowy mountains in the background.

Do you mind if I post the same picture here as I've posted in the wingview topic?

Sorry, I'm just so proud of this picture. Mount Rainier is (one of my) favorite places on earth.
