Re: Meeting Aerien Pau 6/7 june 2009
I have seen a report from Saturday which mentions 2009, 2015 and 2017 as being hangared but were these the same three?

Re: Meeting Aerien Pau 6/7 june 2009
For completeness sake, on Sunday around lunch time they held:
Furthest (big) dome hangar:
only 2628/BJN (put in there around 13.00, it flew before that), 2638/BJR was on the static on Sunday
Central green hangar:
same plus BRL that was put inside here either on Saturday or Sunday morning
Nearest lower green hangar:
same as Saturday
So, still in need for the base list to fill the gaps I guess

Ignore my remarks on the Sunday, as it was *SATURDAY* around lunch time (too many things in one weekend )

Re: Meeting Aerien Pau 6/7 june 2009
The three Tigres in the hangar were indeed 2009, 2015 and 2027. I guess nobody did read off the codes for those?
After the show we drove to the civil side and scored some other stuff.
outside:
177/319-.. MD.312 std (F-AZEL) ==> that one's for you Mike!
in Locavions Aero hangar:
1144 SA.316B std, ex ALAT
(A-407) SE.3160 std, no tail, for sale
F-GIRJ L-18C (ex Greece AF 51-15313)
All other Alouettes that used to be here are sold to Africa by now.
outside with Turbomeca:
? SA.365 std
This one is in a dark green c/s and was covered with plastic. The guard here went crazy when he saw us look at it with a telescope and make a note in our books. According to him it was "secret".... I guess it's too much to ask for an id??

Re: Meeting Aerien Pau 6/7 june 2009
Looked Brazilian to me.
So the guard must have had a rough weekend because he reacted the same way when we were there

Re: Meeting Aerien Pau 6/7 june 2009
Central green hangar:
same plus BRL that was put inside here either on Saturday or Sunday morning
We were given the six in this hangar as;
BRB
BRE
BRO
BRT
BJE
BJL
Also a maintanance hangar midway along the static had a 'Puma' flanked by maintance stands. We were given this as BJT but this was last noted as an EC725 2642 in Dec 2007. I had thought this was an SA330?
The Jag cockpit had A39 on a plate.

Re: Meeting Aerien Pau 6/7 june 2009
I can confirm the chopper in the maintenance hangar was coded BJT, read off through a window. It was in the grey c/s and indeed was an EC,725, not a regular Puma. Also a maintanance hangar midway along the static had a 'Puma' flanked by maintance stands. Thanks for the Jaguar!

2009 had ..B at the end, so BHB according to Scramble datadase should be correctpatrick dirksen wrote:The three Tigres in the hangar were indeed 2009, 2015 and 2027. I guess nobody did read off the codes for those?
