Today a P3 Orion came to Nordholz. Also a 737 as Support. The 737 departure 45 min later after coming. I need some help. Can anyone say me from which Base and Squadron? they come.
Thanks,

C-40 was last seen by me at NAS Fort Worth 14 May, so it should be VR-59. Could also be a visitor off course.
Sorry can't help you with the orion.

Have you looked at the scramble database? http://www.scramble.nl/milbase.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's a shame they're losing their tailcodes. Makes ID-ing it less difficult.

157322 was at Kinloss during Ex Joint Warrior and was apparently from VP-4, NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii.

Sorry to correct you Thijs, but the 834 was last noted from VR-58 and that is based at NAS Jacksonville, home of the P-3.....but you know that more then I do. But hey ...they always could change .....so maybe you're right

The C-40 was last noted at Maastricht 2½ weeks ago as 'Convoy 6482'. I'm not sure, but maybe that callsign hints at its unit? Maybe someone knows the digit-ranges used by the various Navy units using 'Convoy'-callsigns?

I guess VR-58
Tailcode, if there where one, would have been JV=NAS Jacksonville
The C-40 is named "City of Orange Park" and it should be 165834
