Looks very good in my opinion!
Hmmm..... :?

I would much rather see a fully operational bird without these fancy show colours.

It is an operational one but with additional emblem.
You know - all countries want to be remembered by crowd...It is hard to win competition with Sheik using aircraft with any additions;)
I can ensure that you will be satisfied with the polish Fulcrum show.

That is for sure :D, Sheik can't bead the impression of an Mig29 (even how hard he tries)...
Btw the emblem could have been a much worse (I can remember some Czech mig21 looking like flying cartoons)

Adios,

This is a historical emblem of polish 7th Squadron which fought during polish-soviet war in 1919-1920. Among pilots there were also american volunteers. During world war two this emblem was used by famous polish 303th squadron.

The emblem on the 15 is the old 1elt badge of 1PLM.
Around 2000 1 PLM became 1ELT and the old badge was not used during a couple of years.
But the pilot of the Mig29 visiting Leeuwarden air show a couple of years ago, told me that they now use both the old and new 1 ELT badge. That is also the reason why you find 2 different badges on each side of the cockpit.
But they are more proud of the old badge, that is the main reason why this one is painted on the 15 and not the new version.

I might have missed it while reading through all the comments, but the Vulcan is scheduled to arrive at Volkel on Wednesday the 17th of June and the plans are that it will perform a rehearsal on the same day.
