I thought that would be held at Koksijde.Tigerspoon wrote:yeah something like that. but i can't find anything about thatFlying Flea Builder wrote:The 'Belgian Defence Days' won't be held anymore. Instead, every component has its own event. Maybe a regular BAC open day ?

Suggestion for the organization / Registration formRedskin wrote:Doesn't matter that much what will come to the tigermeet, but I hope entry arragements will be better than the last spotters day.
If the organization is using the same procedure (fill in your name etc on the registration form) for the entrance at the airbase, maybe they can place the registration form online so all the people visiting KB can fill in the form at home so the throughput can go faster than the previous years.
Just a thought

I would think an option to buy the entry ticket online (like the sanicole airshow) in combination with an online registration form would also improve the entry speed (or more ticket boxes on base, instread of the two previous event).avanbergen wrote: Suggestion for the organization / Registration form

I think we just have to be lucky that they organise a spottersday at all.
So when i have to wait at the gate so be it.
It's always better than no spottersday at all.

But there is a point of truth though. Putting registration forms online will help processing at the gate. If not, sell fries and beer at the entrance Helps alleviate the tedious waiting <But will have a negative effect on the sharpness of photo's during the day>

Does someone knows if it can be possible that 79th sqn from Shaw AFB will attend this year tigermeet? Some SW-tigers are temporary based in Aviano isn't it? But till when? Thanks.

I would consider this highly unlikely, but something the Belgian organisers might just be willing to try.Felle wrote:Does someone knows if it can be possible that 79th sqn from Shaw AFB will attend this year tigermeet? Some SW-tigers are temporary based in Aviano isn't it? But till when? Thanks.

Don't forget, the SW guys will have their exercise schedule already set, leaving no time for another exercise like Tiger Meet 09.

Very impressive list ......now we only need five more countries to make the list complete if you look to participating countries.
And three of those countries are just european ones ; Turkey, Greece, and Austria.
The other two; India and the US , are not that common in the Tiger Meets in europe.
Rgds,
Kier

Would prefer Polish Su-22's, but I'm not even sure the Polish actually do have a tiger squadron at all?amarx wrote:Would be nice if there are Polish vipers.
