Hi Roel, don't know from whom you heard that ... but I disagree. We had a great spot wich allowed us to take other and great pictures rather then the compositions we all are customed to from Florennes. Don't get me wrong, your pics are cool, crisp and sharp as always. But I have to say, it was a very nice change of scenery to shoot pics from the spot on base.warthog64 wrote: (heard from some people that it was't that good on base....)

Nice ones everyone!
Two sides to the coin, a good way way of working seems to have been to catch the departures from on-base and than leaving for the familiar landing spot for the recoveries. Fortunately it was an air refuelled mission, thus leaving enough time to do so.
Thanks go to the Florennes staff for this day!
My catches:
Hans.

Beautiful weather (until at least the start of the recovery) and some really great company... and of course some great aircraft as well. Here just a few examples from outside the fence:
believe me... my sensor is clean
cheers Jeroen

@ Mike,
That Belgian Viper driver knows what we photographers want! Nice angle, but too bad that one misses some sharpness..

My photo report from a disappointing spottersday:
Flightline overview in the morning
Departure of the visiting Mirage 2000D
with 1080mm
another one
Why not a flyby along the spotters place instead of direct landing?
