Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Hey Etienne,
I am curious what EXIF you use with the EZD picture.
I think you use a high shutter time

Etienne
Indeed your early pictures are marvelous. Despite the dust on the photo I like number 6, where did you took this one?

Re: Phototopic EHAM 10-5-2009
Weekend with no appointments (very nice for a change!) so an other day of spotting for me.
Goal of today, the Turkish A340-300.
At first only runway 06 was in use, so I spotted some planes there first.
Also met 2 starting spotters there, by the looks of the pictures, I'm guessing it was "Charlie1". Nice meeting you and your friend!
The pictures surprise me, know that you didn't use a dslr cam!
2 tips: Level the horizon on your pictures, and try to use "shadows and highlights" option in Photoshop (for RAW pictures, Darks & Shadows), to get rid of the black underside of an aircraft.
The pictures I took at runway 06:
#1 EC-KDH
#2 G-TOYA
#3 PH-KVE
#4 PH-HSS
#5 N624US
#6 N624US
Next I noticed 36R was also in use, my gut feelings told me to move over there to capture the 340.
So I quickly returned to my car and drove over there.
#7 SE-DIK
#8 SU-GBC (JAL 777 in the background)
And there she is!
#9 TC-JDN (JAL 777 in the background)
#10 TC-JDN
#11 JA709J
#12 D-AIPD
#13 PH-BTX (landing with some fokkers watching it in the background.)
#14 PH-OFN (landing with some fokkers watching it in the background.)
